About Resource Person:

Shaykh Umar Dada Paiko is known as the child of the late Mall. Abdullah Dada Paiko (the Sardaunan Paiko and Sarkin Doka of Niger State, Nigeria) and Hajiya Faatimah Abdullahi Dada (Hajiya Wasna). He was born and brought up in Minna, capital of Niger State, Nigeria. Though a native of Paiko Town, the headquarters of Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State.

Umar A. Dada as his documents record his name, is a teacher of mathematics and Islam. He has now left the public service.

He is the author of the first translation of Qur’aan in Gbari language (Quraanyi Bnaze). He is also the author of the poetry collection APHTHONGS.

He has delivered lectures in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across the country. Some of such lectures were transcribed and are now books.
