Choosing the right books for entrance exams is very important. Consult your teachers about them to make sure that you get your hands on the right ones and don’t waste your time in trying out new books every time.
Refer to NCERT books and don’t get too involved with advanced level books. The pattern for IIT/PMT is such that cramming-based study will generally not help. IIT/PMT emphasizes on understanding of concepts and their application to problems rather than cramming up facts.
