Established in 2011, Frontier Markets aims to broaden rural communities’ access to high impact products and services in their villages by investing in rural women. The Meri Saheli App was created for rural women to use a digital solution to help connect their neighbours to products and services. Women can download the app, and assist their customers to browsing, selecting, and ordering products and services ranging in all categories – from clean energy solutions, to agri-appliances, to consumer durables, to FMCG.

Our mission is to create ‘Saral Jeevan’ or an ‘Easy Life’ for rural customers, who do not have affordable electricity, by providing them with access to quality solar, water, health, home appliances solutions through their network of digitized rural women businesses. 100+ employees, 10,000 Digital Savvy Women Entrepreneurs, 700,000 rural customers (and growing!!)

The purpose of this Demo App is to help partners interested in creating Saheli's in their villages to assess the technology and opportunity. Frontier Markets offers the technology, training, and a supply chain to ensure local doorstep access to quality services.
