Mehndi or so called Mehandi designs, is a traditional way to decorate hands, palms, fingers, feet or any other part of your body with the help of a special paste based on mix of powdered, dried leaves of the special Henna plant. Because of the special ferment, the Henna paste usually gives a cherry-red or light brown color, however there are exceptions, so don't worry if your paste somehow differs. There are also different types of recipes, where coffee, lemon juice, tea or essential oils are added to help the texture or smell of the paste.
