Having developer mode and USB debugging caused the app to stop working, which I was told was intentional. The game is decent, but it's not worth disabling either option on my phone for a single game.

Don't see how that is a reason to rate the game poorly... it may be inconvenient, but you choose not to play the game by not disabling it

You can simply disable USB Debug option when you want to play the game.
It takes just a few seconds.
I can't believe that people are so lazy these days. XD

Usb debug is not protective. Its the opposite
