Previous Duolingo grinder. Got a streak of over 200 days! Unfortunatly, you barely learn anything, the graphics are nice, its optimized, but the usage of AI now completely ruins it. The new language courses are way more prone to mistakes than the older ones. What does studying dutch on duolingo for almost a year get you? Nothing, it just gameifies learning the most basic phrases, or the most obscure phrases you'll never be using in any conversation with people who are fluent in the language you are learning.
