This study showed that at least some if not all, types of groups Hieraaetus which differ from the rest of the smaller sizes must be included in the central genus Aquila. Systematic position of all taxa group currently is under revision and in the scientific community accepted a temporary solution to unite all taxa in the same genus Aquila.
