Free Fire OB46 Update: Release Date

This new patch's official release date was revealed by the game's devs through the in-game banner.

Patch OB46 is all set to release on September 4, 2024 (Wednesday) at 1 am.

Free Fire OB46 Update: Character

🔥New Character Lila

"The Gloo Artist" Lila, a new rifle shooter in Free Fire, is now one of the vast roster of the Free Fire character team. And she is now ready for the upcoming actions and chaos in the city of New Dawn!

Add her to your character collection and she will change the way you play! Her passive skill "Con-GEL-ante Strike" will bring you icy tactics to help you dominate the battlefield!

🔥Lila's Abilities

To achieve a strategic attack in the new Gloo map and many other available play areas, you will need her unique passive skill "Con-GEL-ante Strike" which will gain you an advantage in combat situations.

▸What is it?

Lila joined the team with her unique passive skill, an ice technique "Con-GEL-ante Strike".

▸How does it work?

Her weapon is a special rifle. She uses it to slow down or even freeze everything blocks her way.

▸How about her abilities gameplay?

Two Phases	Damage Effects	Abilities Gameplay
Slowdown	If an enemy/vehicle gets hit by Lila's rifle, its movement will slow down: -For an enemy: 10% speed slowdown lasting for 3 seconds -For a vehicle: 50% speed slowdown lasting for 3 seconds	An opponent/vehicle slowdown will buy Lila some time to react.
Frozen	If an enemy/vehicle is hit to knock down, a frozen effect will be activated: -For an enemy: get frozen for 3 seconds -For a vehicle: get frozen for 3 seconds	If she successfully freezes her enemies, an EXTRA Gloo Wall will be rewarded

▸How to play Lila? Solo or Team?

Whether you prefer to play solo or in a team, Lila's abilities can provide you with tools to navigate challenges effectively and increase your chances of survival in matches.

Other Adjustments

In addition to Lila, existing characters will undergo various adjustments to ensure balanced gameplay. These changes aim to fine-tune character abilities, enhancing overall competitive integrity in matches.

-Balance Adjustments: D-Bee, K, Antonio, Maro, and Orion

🔥New Map: Gloo Factory

The Factory got its new decors - Gloos!

-Walls, stairs, multi-level platforms, and view-blocking covers are now all engulfed by Gloo in vibrant colors.

-When the official patch is released, it will become a hotspot for Free Fire players to seek airdrops, attacks, shields, and tactical advantages.

Many other adjustments on maps will take place in 3 additional locations, including:

Map Reworked: Bermuda Minimap

The Bermuda minima received a rework.

-The original color is gone.

-The display of all information is now crystal clear in Bermuda Minimap.

Map adjustments have been made to the terrain, the color of buildings, display effects for areas, icons and many more.

Map Improved: Window Jump Optimizations

Optimizations for window jumps are implemented, allowing for smoother movement and escape tactics during intense firefights, thereby enhancing player mobility.

-No more stuck on the sill while jumping from the window!

-Experience smooth window jumping in buildings of Bermuda minimap and many other areas (Except for Kalahari).

Other Adjustments

Additional adjustments across various map elements will be made to improve overall gameplay dynamics and player interactions within the game environment.

Free Fire OB46 Update: Weapon

🔥New Weapon: Charged Dash

The new melee weapon in store - "Charged Dash" is now waiting for your call!

-Tap "Charge" to release a normal dash attack. Your Dash distance can be up to 6 meters.

-At the end of the dash move, a slash skill will be activated.

-So dash and slash! Dash your way out toward high rankings!

Other Adjustments

Existing weapons will also be balanced, with buffs and nerfs applied to ensure a fair and competitive environment for all players.

Free Fire OB46 Update: Mode

New Team Mode: Social Island & Training Grounds

-Invite Feature: No more sitting in the lobby while waiting for a match! The new mode Social Island & Training Grounds allows you to invite your friends and strangers to join you or you join them!

-Dance Feature: Capture your dancing, share it with your friends, and dive into joy!

-Leaderboard Feature: Check out a player's rank, win streak, and guild for convenience.
