Kenong Jawa

Kenong is a musical instrument that arranges Javanese gamelan.

Kenong is usually played by being hit by a bat. This tool is a chord filler or gamelan playing harmony, kenong functions as a determinant of gatra boundaries, confirms the rhythm.

 Kenong is also a musical instrument with a split, but it is larger than bonang. This tool is also hit using a wooden bat that is wrapped in cloth.

In the Java kenong application, there are several examples of Javanese styles that are usually accompanied by kenong / gamelan.
