This book was prepared for business people, besides being able to be used as additional reference material for law students, especially to enrich material from the Intellectual Property Law course.

As for economics students, especially management majors, this book can be important reading material in the Legal Aspects of Business course. For students studying Ushul Fiqh, this book can be an introduction to finding a new agreement on the existence of copyright in Islamic law.

The subject of this book is the Law relating to Copyright, namely Law number 28 of 2018 as a complement to Law number 19 of 2002 concerning Copyright, from the perspective of Islamic law in general which is usually used as a guideline by the scholars of the four schools of thought, with various references based on the modern yellow book that are generally available.

The writing of this book began in 2014 in the form of a simple thesis which was then revised and refined many times to form this book.

We hope that this book will be useful for the advancement of science and the development of sharia business in Indonesia, as well as for anyone who wants to learn and understand copyright.

Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
