Sheikh Abdul Qadir was born in Nif or Naif Village, belonging to the Jailan district (also called Jilan, Kailan, Kilan, or al-Jil), South Kurdistan, located 150 kilometers northeast of the city of Baghdad, south of the Caspian Sea, Iran.
