When using the same sensor in the app and Reader

Alerts only work on either the FreeStyle Libre 2Reader or your smartphone (not both). To receive alerts on your smartphone, you must activate the sensor in the app. To receive alerts on the FreeStyle Libre2 Reader, you must activate a sensor on the Reader. If you launch a sensor with Reader, you can also scan that sensor with your smartphone.

Please note that no data is shared between the app and Reader. To obtain complete data on a single device, the device scans its sensors every 8 hours. After 8 hours, some data will no longer appear in the report. You can upload and view data from all your instruments on LibreView.com.

FreeStyle LibreLink is intended for use with sensors to measure glucose levels in diabetic patients. For detailed instructions on how to use FreeStyle LibreLink, please refer to the instruction manual that can be accessed from the app.
