This is the quickest and easiest to use pipe sizing calculator on Google Play. Just punch the water flow rate (in L/s, CFM, US GPM or UK GPM) into the numpad and choose between your sizing criteria. Tap any of the units displayed and you can change them instantly, setting your velocity (m/s, FPS or FPM), diameter (mm or inches), pressure drop (Pa/m or psi/ft) and temperature (celsius or fahrenheit) units to suit your preferences. The friction factor used in calculating the pressure drop is determined through an iterative solution of the Colebrook equation as recommended by ASHRAE, so it is the most accurate method you can use. Water density and pressure are calculated internally through a standard water properties table based on the temperatures you set, so you don't need to mess around pulling these together yourself like in other pressure drop calculators.

When it comes to pipe standards, often the nominal diameter is quite different to the actual real inside diameter of the pipe. So Rapid HVAC Pipe Sizing is preloaded with the actual internal diameters that American, European and Australian standards require. It uses these inside its calculations, but tells you the resulting nominal diameter so you can get the right size copper pipe, steel pipe or plastic pipe.
