Loved both games until Niantic blocked access for rooted Android devices. I worked hard to earn my achievements in Ingess. I'm proud of my Founder's Badge a and wouldn't do anything to risk being banned. I have my Android devices rooted to do daily, automatic backups using TitaniumBackup Pro and because of this and my unwillingness to use things like Magisk I won't be able to play once my current version wants to for an update.

Way to treat your loyal players Niantic.

As of September 30, 2019, Niantic has retired Scanner [Redacted] effectively retiring me from Ingress.

Hopefully, soon, I can afford an inexpensive Android Device that I can play Niantic games on. It won't be used for much else. Maybe some music while I play and Discord for passcodes. Until then all I can do is check out the Intel map and wish I could still use something legal to play Ingress with OTHER THAN PRIME!!!!

And when I can play again, I WILL NOT BE SPENDING MONEY ON INGAME PURCHASES! I'll only be using what I've already paid for and the free, but legal, stuff I earn or get from Niantic.

NIANTIC GETS NO MORE MONEY FROM ME!!!!
