I personally am not a fan of having the second character share the same inventory and bag, I guess it makes switching between the 2 characters easy but I personally hate that as well. You also share the same name when you make another which isn't to bad but then you also have this thing, when you make a sexond character, the second character leaves off from where the first one is.
So the second character doesn't get their own story from the start, some may like that but I don't. I hate that cause then your lvl 1is in a lvl 50 zone. No point in back tracking to lvl them up, it be easier to just have the second one start their own story at that rate!
Idk this just insnt my style personally and ruins the game for me.
I do LOVE the character designs to death, its a big thing to me to be able to have such customization.

You can choose to start the newly made character from the beginning of the story but you don't get the tutorial stuff or the achievements as you move on as the account is shared.

u can choose to start from lvl 1 or the current level of your first character,, if you choose to start from lvl 1 you'll skip the tutorials and stuff you have the opportunity to skip all quest dialogue
