Bursa Barrier-Free Club in the Digital World

Bursa Accessible Club meets people with special needs and their families in the digital world.

With this application, it is aimed to strengthen the bond between Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and citizens with special needs living in Bursa, to easily benefit from the municipality services they need in their daily lives, to contribute to the development of the services to be offered to them, and to enable them to meet new services that will facilitate their daily lives.

With digital accessibility, one of the most prominent features of Bursa Accessible Club; All content produced will be understandable and usable by individuals in all disability groups.

In this context, in practice;

There will be information about the disabled services of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and the Disabled Branch Directorate under the name of “Our Services-Projects”.

Under the name of “My Rights”, it will contain up-to-date information about the disability legislation, services provided by public institutions and organizations.

“Goodness/Volunteer Movement” There will be an announcement of Directorate activities, municipality events, sightseeing tours, advantageous travel and holiday programs for people residing in Bursa. It will provide an opportunity and opportunity to exhibit exemplary behaviors. Families or people with special needs "Leave a trace!" This is the section where every material, product, but especially medical equipment (patient bed, wheelchair, etc.) they use under their name will be donated.

Under the name of “Hand Work Corner”, an area will be provided for the display and sale of the products produced by disabled individuals and their families in order to contribute to their manual labor and economy.

"Trainings" Online or face-to-face training announcements (currently ongoing at our address, obstaclelessbursa.bursa.bel.tr), course and training applications will be received. Considering the participation of people with special needs in active life, announcements for the employment of the disabled will be made under the name of “Business life” in cooperation with BIKO, İŞKUR and the private sector.

Applications for our “SEYYAH” Disabled Road Assistance Services and Urban Disabled Transportation Services can also be received through the application.

Thanks to the Bursa map to be placed in the application under the name of "Accessible Spaces", an interactive space will be created under the name of "disabled-friendly spaces". People with disabilities will be able to mark accessible places on the map, as our battery charging stations, disabled parking spaces, etc., facilitate the life of disabled people, as they are shared by point location, and because the application is an open platform for interaction.

The application has been developed by the personnel of the Software Branch, using entirely internal resources.
