Quiet Riot had their ‘five minutes’ of fame in 1983 with a remake of the Slade song, ‘Cum On Feel The Noize’, and a US #1 album, Metal Health - the primary metal album to succeed in that position within the US charts. However, they were unable to keep up that momentum with ensuant releases.

The band founded in 1975 taking their name from a suggestion created by Status Quo’s Rick Parfitt. They recorded 2 albums that were sold only in Japan. They had released 13 studio album, 1 live album and 8 compilation album
