Alert against unsafe food and products + food signaling function

The best possible protection of consumers in food products and is the goal of the Bavarian State Ministry for Environment and Consumer Protection (StMUV). More information and control provide more food security and trust.

This app warns consumers about food and products that were not complying with the legal requirements and recalled by the manufacturer. If there are such warnings, the user receives a notification on his smartphone. He can control via "Settings" both the warnings and the alerts individually.

Consumers can use this app also get active and an integrated signaling function unsafe food in only 4 steps the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety Report. From there, the message is forwarded to the competent district administrative authority (district office or county-level city).

Information and advice

In addition, this app provides information on the 7 main rules on food hygiene, are indications for labeling on foods and on best seal. For many consumer issues, it provides daily reports.

The Verbraucherzentrale Bayern and consumer service Bayern offer users a free consultation by phone or e-mail.

Partners

For the food warnings

cooperates StMUV with the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) in Berlin. For the purposes of § 40 Food and Feed Code, these are usually an indication as to the competent authorities or a withdrawal or recall by the food business.

For product warnings cooperates the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA). For the purposes of the Product Safety Act (ProdSG) citizens are warned and informed about the safety and health hazards of commercial products.
