Apart from the internet, maybe you can see magazines or also see examples of invitations that you have ever received. Try to think about things that you like or things that describe you. Then put these things into your design. For example, you want to make a wedding invitation. You and your partner really like vintage things. Maybe in designing invitations you should include your photos with your partner by wearing clothes that smell of vitange or vintage themed. Unique invitation design will certainly leave an impression on the person who receives it, so make a design that is as attractive and unique as possible.
