1)Daily Profit Loss statement

2)Inventory management-> What is the current value, how much is the current stock.

3)Sales-> Total sales over period, view customer wise/product wise

4)Purchase-> Total Purchase over period, view supplier wise/product/wise

5) How much balance remains with customer, how much you owe to supplier etc.

How to Use

1) Add product first

2) Add parties i.e Customers and Suppliers.

3) If you sell to lot of people, add one customer like "Cash sales" to track bills.

4) Create Receipts (When you purchase) and Bills when you sell.

How Profit Loss is calculated ?

FIFO- First in, First out logic is used to calculate Profit Loss.

Example

a) "Item 1" is bought on 1st January, 20 Units at 100 Rs

b) "Item 1" is bought on 3rd January, 30 Units at 120 Rs

c) 15 Units of "Item 1" sold at 110 Rs. At this stage profit and loss will

(110-100)*15, since cost price is 100 Rs for first 20 Items.

d) 10 Units of "Item 1" sold at 130 Rs. For this transaction,

profit/loss of first 5 items will be calculated at Cost Price of 100

Rs, for remaining 5 items, it will be calculated at Cost Price of

120 Rs.
