Shravanbelagola is a town located near Channarayapatna of Hassan district in the Indian state of Karnataka and is 144km from Bangalore, the capital of the state and 44 km from Mysore.

It is one of the most important holy places for all the Jain’s around the world. This place is very famous for the Gomateshwara or the Bahubali statue which is the tallest monolithic stone in the world with a height of 58 feet carved out of a single piece block of granite.
