Love cannot give pain, and if it gives pain, it cannot be love. It is attachment(Swami Vivekananda). Love has to give joys and will always give joys. If parting someone makes you sad, it was because you were attached to it (of course you may have loved them as well), and not because you loved them.

Love is when someone spent their life helping downtrodden. There is no expectation of return, only feeling of immense care.

Nearest to this is love of parents (and siblings or spouse at best). They might have huge attachments, but all attachments are selfless.

Yes other than this, there may be millions instances of love. But it seems 'love' has been taken on a very casual note these days.

Anything that makes one feel good, happy and purify ones heart from all bad and negative world is LOVE. Love in infinite and endless. It can't be express in words and describe. Its only a ultimate feeling of God towards everything in this world. If one’s express the endless expressionless feeling of heart then only it can be exampled.

True love is never greedy, it's selfless. You love someone and that's all, you are not bothered whether they love you back or not or they are with someone else, you are just happy when you see them happy.

Love is the answer to world problems because it reduces cortisol, the stress hormone, which alters brain architecture for the better.

I believe that each of us deserve a chance at love. And I know it sound silly that there’s someone out there for everyone but I believe in love.

Love, I'm not perfect, but I'd follow you into hell if that's what it took to keep you safe. I am your protector as you are mine, one to shield the other. After keeping children safe, as all adults must, not a single soul comes before you.
