One such possible trace is the electromagnetic fields (EMF) they emit.

This app is using your device sensors to detect any disturbances to the geomagnetic field.

The results and accuracy will depend on your device capabilities and the type of presence that is around you.

Using this app, your device can be used to display possible presence detected in a radius of about 10 meters.
