The Contemporary English Version (CEV) is a direct translation of the Biblical languages ​​(Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek); It is not an adaptation or paraphrase of any existing Spanish version. They have been taken as the basis for the translation of the two official versions United Bible Societies (SBU) used in all our translations around the world: the Bible Hebraica Stuttgartensia and the fourth revised edition of the Greek New Testament.

For translation they have followed the translation principles established by the SBU, whose emphasis is on the accurate translation of the meaning of the original text and not on isolated words or grammatical forms of the source text. It has done everything possible to make our public receives the same meaning of the message that captured the first hearings of the biblical text.
