The FREE West Marine app provides, when coupled with a West Marine VHF radio with Bluetooth Text Messaging capability, the ability to use text messaging between West Marine na Uniden radios when offshore, out of range of Cellular or Wi-fi coverage.

• Use your phone to send and receive private text messages

• Just pair your phone to a West Marine (Bluetooth enabled) VHF radio

• App uses your radio DSC Individual directory for text messaging contact information

• The receiving radio will acknowledge the received text message (when in range)

• Also works with Uniden VHF radios with Bluetooth, Text Messaging capability
