Sparta Warriors Fighting

The game follows a storyline set in ancient Greece...

The story starts with the main character (Argos) regaining conciousness on a beach after his entire fleet of ships has been wiped out by a violent storm.

He progresses inland while fighting various mythical beasts across multiple landscapes.

The spartan, must free the oracle from Hades, who will lead him home.

Play progressesacross various legendary landscapes such as Atlantis and the underworld.

In the hands of a lesser developer, aping God of War would have been a disaster.

But Sparta Warriors Fighting is an enjoyable action game in its own right,

filled with great scenery and tons of mythological monsters to put before your one-man death panel.

You press through several levels of Greek legend-inspired scenery,

stabbing a giant Cyclops in the eye in one scene while making a Minotaur shish kebab in the next.

Along the way, Argos picks up new weapons and gear.

Like Kratos' new toys, you can upgrade these weapons with orbs pulled from the bodies of slain foes.

You take the role of King, a Spartan hero, who must battle his way through several stages of hack n slash glory.

The design of Hero Sparta owes a ton to the God War franchise, as it's a hack-and-slash brawler with a Greek mythology theme.

You control Argos, a lone warrior king separated from his people,

and quest through mostly 2D levels while dispatching endless hordes of skeletons,

minotaurs and other ancient beasts with button-mashing sword techniques.

There are occasional real-time action events that come up,

tasking you to input a proper sequence of on-screen buttons do something like finish off an enemy or keep a giant cyclops from squashing you --

but most of the time it's just running forward and cutting up anything that gets in your way.

You take the role of King, a Spartan hero, who must battle his way through several stages of hack n slash glory.

With only two buttons to do the hacking and slashing game play can feel somewhat shallow at times.

Another button allows you to block and thus alternating between the three makes for the majority of the strategy you will apply to your killing.

Along your journey you unlock several weapons, all of which can be upgraded.

Each weapons special, when activated, unleashes a devastating blast to all surrounding enemies.

This drains your special meter, so choosing when and where to use it adds a little depth to the Sparta Warriors Fighting play.
