Earthquake monitoring in Italy and around the world, news and push notifications

Terremoto Live is an application that allows you to monitor in real time the earthquakes that occur in Italy and around the world.

Main features and useful information:

The application shows in a first screen a list of earthquakes based on data provided by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) and in a second screen a list of earthquakes provided by the Euro-Mediterranean seismic center (EMSC), with graphics simple and intuitive.

Clicking on each seismic event in the list opens a new screen with a detailed map showing the geographic epicenter of the earthquake thanks to the Google Maps service.

A third screen also provides news and insights on earthquakes and geology. This news comes from the website www.inmeteo.net, managed by the same owner of the Terremoto Live application.

The application was developed independently by the author and has no connection with INGV, EMSC, or other organizations/bodies. The author does not offer any guarantee, explicit or implicit, on the truthfulness and accuracy of the data nor on the correct functioning of the application. We decline all responsibility for any damage resulting from the use of the application; you assume full responsibility for any risk.

The list of earthquakes and news are provided for informational purposes and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or updating of the data.

Users can activate push notifications to receive alerts based on the magnitude of earthquakes and the distance to the epicenter, calculated using geographic coordinates. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of such notifications. Users are responsible for managing their notification preferences (they can do so from the appropriate settings) and understand that such notifications are provided for information purposes.

Furthermore, push notifications may not always be available for all seismic events and are common for delays. In certain circumstances, your device may also be unable to receive push notifications due to its settings (power saving and others).
