Earth is heating, the artic ice is melting, the water levels and temperature are rising. This is mostly caused by the rising levels of CO₂ emission.

Mobility is responsible for around one third of the personal carbon emissions of people living in Switzerland. This figure includes air traffic and travel abroad, which in turn account for around half of the emissions from mobility. The Swiss Climate Challenge is an initiative that starts here. It wants to create incentives that will motivate companies and private individuals to reduce their own mobility-related CO₂ emissions.

The Swiss Climate Challenge is for more transparency in the mobility emissions and their relation to climate change. It is developed by Swisscom AG and supported by Energy Switzerland. The users data is anonymized and protected according to all data protection regulations.
