Sampa Dengue

Tool for healthcare professionals.

The Sampa Dengue application was developed as a tool for healthcare professionals, to assist in the risk classification and clinical management of patients suspected of dengue.

Developed in partnership with COVISA- SMS and PRODAM.

The application was built taking as reference the document Dengue: diagnosis and clinical management: adult and child, 5th edition, Ministry of Health, 2016.

Based on the information on the age, sex and weight of the patient suspected of having dengue, the application helps the healthcare professional to classify the risk and indicates the necessary measures for the case, such as quantity of oral hydration fluid, the need to carry out additional tests , discharge criteria, among others.
