The Institute for European Traffic Law concerns itself with developments in the field of insurance law, the law on liability, on compensation and general traffic law in the European Union. It seeks to promote training and further education and an interchange of expert knowledge and practical experience in all areas of traffic law. To this end, seminars, training courses and colloquia are organized, first of all the European Traffic Law Days, which take place once a year in the first week of October. The Institute is a platform for discussion of current developments in European Union legislation and of recent judgments.
