About Robinson Crusoe Deutsche Versi

Robinson Crusoe German version is now in your pocket.

The first-person narrator and protagonist Robinson Crusoe was born in York in 1632 as the son of a Bremen merchant who emigrated to England with the original name Kreutzner (Kreutznaer). His father warns young Robinson that he belongs to the middle class and warns him urgently against going to sea, where he would go under. Robinson Crusoe disregards these warnings and is attacked and enslaved by pirates on one of his first trips off the North African coast. After two years of imprisonment in the Moroccan port city of Salé, he manages to escape together with the enslaved boy Xury; both sail south along the African Atlantic coast. Finally, they are picked up on the high seas by a Portuguese captain. He brings them across the Atlantic Ocean to Brazil; Robinson sells Xury to the captain, but has him assure him in writing that Xury will be released after ten years of service if he becomes a Christian.

In Brazil, Robinson quickly makes money from trading skills. He buys his own sugar plantation and manages it as best he can. He goes back to sea to bring black slaves from Guinea for his and other plantations. On this voyage, he is the only member of the crew to survive a shipwreck in a storm in the Caribbean. He is stranded on a remote island in the Orinoco estuary. The following days, Crusoe was able to rescue various pieces of equipment from the shipwreck using a self-made raft before he found out one morning that it had disappeared after another storm.

Robinson builds a small fortress in which he lives. He begins to grow grain (barley), hunt and make clothes from the fur of wild goats. Around the twelfth day after his landing, he erected a large cross, into which he carved September 30, 1659, the date of his arrival on the island, and decided to carve a notch in the cross every day. He also keeps a diary until he runs out of ink. He equips his fortress with muskets saved by the ship. He does all of this with extreme caution because he does not feel safe on the island.
