About PSHT TERATE MBAH SURO

The complete history of the establishment of PSHT terate ... the legacy of Mbah SURO.

In 1903 in Kampoeng Tambak Gringsing, Surabaya, Ki Ageng Soero Dwiryo laid the foundation for the style of Pencak Silat Setia Hati. Before it was called Setia Hati, Physical training / Movement of Pencak Silat Setia Hati was called "Djojo Gendilo Tjipto Muljo" and for the religious and spiritual teachings of Setia Hati was called "Sedulur Tunggal Ketjer" abbreviated as STK. [3] by Tk.II residents at the Surabaya branch of the PSHT White level training at IAIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya in 1994 - 1995, including Mas Ir. FX.Sentot Sutikno, Mas. Dr. Ir. H. Aliadi, MM and Panggul Mas In 1917 Ki Ageng Soerodwirjo moved to Madiun and built and established the Silat "college" fraternity called the Setia Hati Brotherhood in the village of Winongo Madiun. At that time the Setia Hati Brotherhood was not / was not yet an organization, Setia Hati was a (sometimes) brotherhood among students, because at that time the Pencak Silat organization was not permitted by Dutch colonialism. "Faithful Heart" means Faithful to the Heart (self) itself ". Soerodiwirjo was born of a noble family in the Gresik area (another version in Madiun) East Java, Indonesia, in the last quarter of the 19th century. He was dubbed the "Ngabei" an exclusive peerage given by the Sultan and only to those who had proven themselves spiritually worthy. He lived and worked in various locations on the islands of Java and Sumatra and studied Pencak Silat styles from various schools. In Sumatra also study kerokhanian (kebatinan) with a spiritual teacher. The combination of spiritual teachings (kebatinan) and the best pencak silat styles from these various schools are the basis for the Setia Hati silat. Ki Ageng Hadji Soerodiwirjo died on November 10, 1944 in Madiun.

In 1922, Ki Hadjar Hardjo Oetomo (a pioneer hero of independence from 1883-1952), one of whom was sometimes Setia Hati, asked permission from Ki Ageng Soerodiwirjo to establish a Setia Hati training for the younger generation and was permitted by Ki Ageng Soerodiwirjo, but had to be in a different name. . So Ki Hardjo Oetomo founded the Setia Hati "Youth Sport Club" (SH PSC) which later became the Faithful Brotherhood of the "Youth Sport Club" in the form of an Organization. This organization was then called Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate or PSHT in 1948 in the first congress in Madiun. After World War II, PSHT continued to spread throughout Indonesia. An important figure behind the growing popularity of PSHT is Mas Irsjad who is the first student of Ki Hadjar Hardjo Oetomo. Mas Ershad also created 90 Basic Exercises (Basic Exercise), Dagger Skills (Kick with a knife), and Toya Kick (Kick with long sticks) which distinguishes Setia Hati in Winongo. One of the students of Mas Irsjad was Mas Imam Koesoepangat (1939-1987) the spiritual leader of PSHT who contributed to raising PSHT. His successor, Mas Tarmadji Boedi Harsono (1987-2014), is currently the central board of the PSHT organization headed by Col. Inf (Ret.) Mas Richard Simorangkir until the Parapatan Luhur was held in 2014.
