No one is stopping you from having ice cream for dinner, you're an adult! However, with the Veggie Hunt event, Subway Surfers is focused on diverting you from poor dietary decisions. The event, introduced today and launching on the 26th of August, is designed to inspire players to eat healthily, via subway surfing.
How does it operate? As you progress, you'll have the chance to collect different vegetable ingredients like avocados, tomatoes, and lettuce. When you've gathered enough, you can use them to make a full sandwich, thereby unlocking a new vegetable-themed character, Billy Bean.
Naturally, Subway Surfers' social media platforms will also participate, urging players to post their favorite vegetarian recipes online, as well as their real-life versions of the Veggie Hunt sandwich. The Green Game Jam 2024 event will host the event.
It may not be the hippest event ever, but let's not forget that Subway Surfers was always aimed at youngsters and probably will be. So if you're an old-time fan, these type of cartoon special events are sadly inevitable.
