The highly awaited annual event marking Pokémon Go's eighth anniversary is fast approaching. The widely played AR game, each year, hosts a grand birthday bash filled with irresistible events and rewards for all participants. This glorified celebration will occur from June 28th through July 3rd.
Trainers will be actively preparing for the eighth anniversary of Pokémon Go, with both Grimer and Muk making their first appearance in party hats. Furthermore, by opening a Mystery Box, you might even discover a Shiny Meltan.
A plethora of quests will be on offer during the event, each presenting a variety of rewards. The Whisper in the Woods Masterwork Research story, the most significant among them, costs $5 to access and promises a compelling encounter with Shiny Celebi. What's more, extended durations will be given for Incense, Daily Adventure Incense, and Lucky Egg.
By completing Timed and Field Research, you can accumulate resources such as XP, Stardust, and encounters with Pokémon like Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, and Mudkip. Moreover, the event offers paid Timed Research for an additional $2. Fulfill tasks such as spinning eight PokéStops or evolving eight Pokémon to earn ample rewards.
