HAEGIN enters a global partnership with Sanrio for integrating its characters into the mobile game, Play Together, enhancing the social gaming experience.
The CEO of HAEGIN, Young-il Lee, has declared that the company will be entering into a global licensing partnership with Sanrio characters IP. This collaboration is slated for their mobile casual social network game Play Together.
Sanrio Characters-themed Hotel Debuts on Kaia Island, a Treat for Play Together Fans
The new collaboration brings a splash of Sanrio magic to Kaia Island, home of "Play Together," through an enchanting assortment of content showcasing the Sanrio characters. The centerpiece of this partnership is the newly minted "Sanrio Characters Hotel" situated in Kaia Island's Downtown district, swathed in various shades of pink. Hotel guests are welcomed and served by adorable NPC representations of iconic Sanrio mascots, including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and Pochacco.
To celebrate the grand opening of the Sanrio Characters Hotel, the game has integrated exclusive events that allow players to amass a collection of Sanrio-themed treasures. The journey begins with players taking on quests provided by NPC Hello Kitty within the hotel confines. Successful completion of these quests awards participants with event-specific currency, which can be traded in for unique merchandise such as the Hello Kitty Hotel Gown, Hotelier Uniform, and a special Hello Kitty Bath Bucket (serving as a vehicle).
In addition, there's an attendance event that offers players the opportunity to snag a Cinnamoroll Profile picture. What's more, they've rolled out a Gift Calendar in the Downtown space for players to unlock a variety of collectibles drawing inspiration from the beloved Sanrio universe.

An official from HAEGIN has announced that the game "Play Together" has been updated to include a range of new content themed around Sanrio characters. This includes an assortment of costumes, furniture pieces, and vehicle designs. Discussions between HAEGIN and Sanrio Korea are ongoing, with the aim of potentially introducing more Sanrio-related intellectual property elements into the game in the future.
