NetEase Games, which is the online games department of NetEase, Inc. has declared that Identity V will enter a new phase on April 20th when it releases its latest version update called 2.0 Version with Ashes of Memory story included in it. The update also includes various visual enhancements and additional content to the game along with special bonuses for all players who log in during this time period.
In the game Identity V, which involves one player against multiple players, four survivors must navigate through a gothic environment while avoiding being caught by the hunter. To succeed and escape unharmed, each survivor must utilize their unique skills to evade the hunter's grasp and complete objectives specific to that stage.
The objective of the Hunter player is to locate and eliminate all Survivors gradually. The games take place in a fictional setting called Manor Games, where players uncover clues about the terrible incidents that occurred at Oletus Manor.
Identity V 2.0 features a brand new Protagonist and Story
The beginning of the Ashes of Memory story will introduce a fresh character named Journalist Alice Deross in Chapter 1, which is included in the 2.0 Version update. Players can guide Alice as she explores Oletus Manor and uncovers dark secrets from its history, replacing Orpheus as the primary protagonist. Additionally, all Identity V players can receive Alice for free since she is a new Survivor character that has been added to the game.
The introduction of a new main character in Identity V has caused a shift in the timeline, with Orpheus' story now occurring before Alice's adventure. To match this change, adjustments have been made to the game's user interface (UI) and players will notice that the previously run-down lobby has been restored to its original grandeur.
Changes have been made to the user interface of interactive pages, which will allow players to experience updated versions of logic routes, notebooks and match entrances. In order to help players keep track of all the information they receive about knowledge and lore, additional features such as an item bag and tale review are being introduced.
Identity V will open up Oletus Manor in new ways in the 2.0 version
With its restored grandeur, Oletus Mansion is now worth another look for gamers. In the upcoming Identity V 2.0 Version update, players will have access to all parts of the mansion such as the banquet hall, study, guest chamber and botanical gardens. The renovated version of Oletus Mansion will be more accessible than ever before.
