The team behind Honkai Impact 3rd has revealed that the game's latest update, v6.6 called Woven from Last Snow, will be available on May 18th. This update includes a new main story set in Salt Snow Holy City and introduces a new character named Misteln with her battlesuit Dreamweaver. Additionally, players can expect to encounter a new combat system known as Inscribed Whispers in this upcoming release.
Honkai Impact 3rd takes place in a contemporary society that has been corrupted by an unknown force called Honkai. The resistance against it is made up of Valkyries, courageous young women who possess genes that can combat the Honkai. They are fighting to preserve all things beautiful and meaningful in their world as they strive for survival.
The game has gained a global fan base since it was introduced on mobile devices, and it often ranks high in the download charts of both the App Store and Google Play. It was later adapted for PC with cross-save compatibility towards the end of 2019, and can now be found on Epic Games Store as well. As a result, accessing Honkai-verse is easier than ever before!
Honkai Impact 3rd v6.6 Update: Dreamweaver Misteln
In Part 1 Finale, Misteln's background and past experiences were revealed. In v6.6, she will join the team with her battlesuit called Dreamweaver which deals physical damage as a MECH-type fighter. During battle, she has two forms: her physical body where she acts as a commander by waving a banner and summoning Seeds of Ideas to either attack or defend herself.
Misteln's Ultimate ability involves bringing enemies into a dream world and sending out her astral body to battle them. Her astral form takes on the appearance of a brave warrior who uses a javelin for close combat and throws short spears from her back at strategic times. This is the first time that this type of weapon has been introduced in the series, allowing Misteln to fight with grace and precision on the battlefield.
Honkai Impact 3rd v6.6 Update: Terminal Aide 0017 for Prometheus
Version 6.6 of the game introduces a new battlesuit called "Hare" and also adds Terminal Aide 0017 for PROMETHEUS, which is a combat partner with excellent IMG-type Physical support abilities. She fights using her fists and protects her teammates during battle by absorbing damage while also boosting their attacks through her shield.
Additionally, she is capable of depleting her opponents' energy. When her SP level is sufficient, she can utilize a Combo ATK to cause the ground to shake and hurl adversaries into the air. Alternatively, she can turn her fists into a shield for repelling incoming attacks. She also has the ability to replenish her own SP during combat or while defending herself.
Honkai Impact 3rd v6.6 Update: Inscribed Whispers Mode
In addition to the new playable characters, Captains will also have access to a game mode called Inscribed Whispers. This mode allows players to unlock and wear four different attributes (light, ice, thunder, and dark) that can be used in combat to activate various skills. By combining these attributes strategically, players can increase their fighting ability and make battles easier with unique talents and visual effects.
