2022-11-30
Fingersoft, the Finnish game studio that has made the popular Hill Climb Racing 1 and 2, officially announced that they are now developing a new title for their classic racing franchise, which is called Hill Climb Racing 3.
The original title released in 2012 is a very enjoyable physics-based driving game with dozens of tracks, vehicles, and character customization options. The game has been a hit worldwide and one of the most downloaded games on both pc and mobile within a few months after its launch. Because of its huge success, the sequel game Hill Climb Racing 2 was launched four years later.
The developer shared a post on Twitter and their website yesterday as below, which is pretty short and barely offers any further information. As a part of the classic racing series, the Hill Climb Racing 3 will surely share some similarities with its predecessors, like physics-based gameplay and multiplayer mode. From the official post, we know that the graphics of the upcoming title will be upgraded from 2D to 3D, making it a more exciting game for Hill Climb Racing fans.
"We are proud to confirm the ongoing development of our next flagship franchise title, Hill Climb Racing 3 – The ultimate arcade racing game; featuring 3D graphics, thrilling physics-based gameplay and real-time multiplayer mayhem! We plan to share more information about Hill Climb Racing 3 (and our other upcoming projects) in 2023, so stay tuned for more information!" --Fingersoft.
There is no specific release date yet, but the developer hints there will be more information revealed in 2023. For those who are interested in this racing game, you can follow Hill Climb Racing on social media for more updates and news!
