The October 2024 update for Clash Royale introduces a variety of exciting events, challenges, and balance changes as part of Season 64. This patch aims to enhance gameplay and engage players with new features, including a revamped Pass Royale and significant adjustments to card dynamics.

Events and Challenges

From October 7 to November 4, players can participate in several themed events:

Week 1 (Oct 7 ~ Oct 14)

Electro Dragon Evolution

• Event Highlights: The Electro Dragon gains a new ability to zap multiple troops continuously.

• Event Rewards: A banner decoration and a banner frame.

Week 2 (Oct 14 ~ Oct 21)

Blackout Challenge

• Event Highlights: Players face battles in darkness, adding a unique challenge.
• Event Rewards: A banner decoration.

Week 3 (Oct 21 ~ Oct 28)

Doctor Goblinstein

• Event Highlights: Battle against Doctor Goblinstein and his traps.
• Event Rewards: A banner decoration.

Week 4 (Oct 28 ~ Nov 4)

Spooky Chess Royale

• Event Highlights: A chess-themed event with a Halloween twist.
• Event Reward: A banner decoration.

Tournaments

Pass Royale

The October update also revamps the Pass Royale system:

• Enhanced Rewards: Improved value for both free and paid tracks, allowing players to earn five times more Lucky Drops per season.
• New Daily Tasks: Players can now complete daily tasks for additional rewards, including Lucky Drops.
• Evolution Wild Shard: Added to the Free Pass, enhancing the evolution mechanics of cards.

Balance Changes

The balance changes introduced in this patch focus on adjusting various cards based on community feedback:

Nerf

Evolved P.E.K.K.A - Heal per kill decreased by 13%.

Evolved Tesla - Removed guaranteed Shockwave upon death.

Buff

Tesla - Hit speed increased by 9%.

Goblin Curse - Damage per second increased by 20%.

Goblin Machine - HP increased by 5%.

Skeleton Barrel - Death damage increased by 9%.

Rework

Evolved Goblin Drill - Damage and knockback removed from second and third spawns. Added deploy time for spawned Goblins.
