Early Life:- Hazrat Umar Farooq was the son of Al-khatab, born on born c.583 CE and died on November 644 CE). In his time of Khelafat, he was one of the most powerful and influential Muslim Khalifa. Befor his conversion to islam, he was very much opposite to Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), Even once he took his sword to Kill Muhammad PBUH. On his way to murder Muhammad PBUH, He meet his friend Nuaim (He was also secretly converted to Islam), but had not told to Umar R.A. Umar R.A Told his intentions to his friend, his friend replied, before to go there, first inquire you own house , where his sister and his brother and have been converted to Islam.

Conversion to Islam:- He rushed and he found his sister and brother in-law, reciting the versus of Holy Quran from surah Taaha. He started quarreling with his brother in law, his sister came out to rescue her husband, he also started quarreling with her too. They kept on saying that you may kill us but we will not give up Islam. On hearing these word, Hazrat Umar R.A, Slapped his sister, she felled down with bleeding her mouth. After some time he asked her sister to give him what she was reciting. She replied you can’t even touch it because you are unclean, he insisted a lot but, she was not ready to allow him to touch Quran versus. Umar R.A at last give in, and washed his body, he recited the versus of Quran which were :

“Verily, I am Allah: there is no God but Me; so serve Me (only), and establish regular prayer for My remembrance (Quran 20:14) “

By reading this, he wept and said, "Surely this is the word of Allah. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."

Hazrat Khbbad came out and said "O, Umar! Glad tidings for you. Yesterday Muhammad prayed to Allah, 'O, Allah! Strengthen Islam with either Umar or Abu Jahl, whomsoever Thou likest.' It seems that his prayer has been answered in your favour."

He went to Muhamamd PBUH, and accepted Islam.

Assassination of Hazar Umar. R.A.:-

He was assassinated by a Persian in response to the Muslim conquer on Persian in 644.
