Gladis - gladiators combat

Play this turn based strategy game with gladiators that you were waiting for.

Scope:

This is a turn based strategy game for who wants to play a hexagonal chess like game but with more real characters, arms, attack moves and situations.

Motivation:

In the ancient Rome times the Gods from Olimp used to kidnap gladiators right before their death in arena and used them for their fun in bloody battles. The gladiators were grouped in two and played against in some chess like strategy game till there were no one left standing. Energy fields of hexagonal shape trapped the gladiator in his position letting him move and strike only in permitted directions. When the enemy attacked his only way to defend was his shield if he had one as his weapon was futile. His only chance was to last till the end and live a god's life.

Description:

Gladis is a hexagonal chess with gladiators.

Only "Single Player" and "Two Player" modes are yet implemented.

Rules:

- unlike in chess any gladiator can move in any direction

- unlike in chess the archer can fire but cannot be moved with the arrow.

- the hammer and the net can distory the shield and the horse but lets the gladiator alive.

- the horse can move two positions.

- a gladiator with shield cannot be killed with direct hit. Only two gladiators can kill one.
