The goal of 4 in a row is to align four tiles on a board consisting of six rows and seven columns. Each player has 21 tiles of one color (usually red or yellow).

In turn, players must enter a chip in the column they prefer (provided it is not complete) and it will fall to the lowest position. Win the game the first one that manages to align four consecutive tiles of the same color in horizontal, vertical or diagonal.

If all the columns are full but nobody has made a valid row, there is a tie.

4 in a row is an abstract strategy game where opponents have perfect information. As a general rule, the first player has more chances to win if he enters the first chip in the middle column.
