The four founders of Sunni imams schools.

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate, and that prayer and salvation be upon our Master and Prophet Muhammad and upon his noble family and his illustrious companions and all those who follow his way and his guidance until the day of resurrection.

Allaah says: "So ask the Reminder if you do not know." S 21 v 7.

He also said: "The believers do not have to leave all their homes. Of every troop of them, do not they come to learn in religion to be able to return, warn their people so that they are on their guard! "S9, v. 122

The Messenger of Allah (On him grace and peace) said for his part: "The scholars of my community are like the prophets of the Israelites."

He also said: "The scholars are the heirs of the prophets. But these, have left a legacy, nor dinar nor dirham, but they let the science. "

He also said in a famous hadith: "Allah sends to the end of the century, this community, one that will reform him things of his religion.

Walking through the life and work of religious scholars of Islam - whether dogmatic theologians, traditionalists, jurists, exegetes of the Koran or the Sufis engaged in the spiritual path - measuring the importance that takes this noble hadith and the comparison he makes rightly between these scholars who were ordinary people after all and the prophets of the Israelites who themselves were inspired and receiving revelation, as everyone knows.

Indeed, it is thanks to these men to the unshakable faith, piety and rigorous scruples and abundant science that Islam was not only preserved and defended against its enemies and detractors, many in its infancy, but too explicit, structured and interpreted in its various sciences of dogmatic theology (kalam), jurisprudence (fiqh), the hadith, exegesis (tafsir), Sufism, etc. And thanks to their commendable efforts and their tremendous work that these sciences were received too explicit and too detailed and therefore we can say that it is thanks to them that Muslims of all ages, and of all cultures come to know the tenets of their religion, through dogmatic theology ( 'ilm al-kalam), practicing rituals with ease, comfort and discretion and to deepen its practice beyond the simple mechanical gesture of ritual to soak his great spirituality, Sufism through the Tazkiyya or "Ihsan" which enables the believer to worship his Lord as if he saw him, because even if he does not see the Son Lord himself, see, as says a famous hadith of the Prophet (on him grace and peace).

The scholars of this size are numerous in Islam and are found in all Islamic disciplines they marked their indelible footprints and to whom all Muslims are beholden.
