I know it's a little cliche to appreciate (not to say even adore) a book that has met with such success to the point of becoming a bestseller but tans worse, I take my choice! Yes, I loved this book (I had already loved "The gods always travel incognito", and there is the same feeling of bliss that won me). A simple book, easy to read, accessible to all and yet makes us think about existential questions, for example (and not least): What do I really want to do with my life? And am I able to succeed? Or do I have to melt into the mold and do what others expect from me or do what I really want?

The narrator will have to ask all his questions during his stay in Bali with his meeting with healer, or to be exact, a spiritual master by the name of Samtyang. The latter will teach the narrator to progress by giving him some small tasks to help him discover who he really is and to progress in order to feel better in his life and in his head. Because yes, the narrator has a profession (he is a teacher), so he earns a good living (even if he occasionally takes the head with his banker because of his overdrafts) but he has no one in his life and more than anything, he is not happy. Master Samtyang will help him find out what he needs to do to change it!

A novel to read, very quickly read and I recommend, although I found that opinions on the subject were mixed!
