Ghafir, 일명 Surat al-Mumin 또는 Momin (سورة المؤمن, "The Believer") with Urdu

Ghāfir (Arabic: غافر‎, "The All-Forgiving" (referring to God)), also known as Surat al-Mumin (Momin) (Arabic: سورة المؤمن‎, "The Believer"), is the 40th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur'an with 85 verses (āyāt). It takes its name from verse 28 which mentions a distinguished believer from among the clan of the Pharaoh who supported Moses, referring to him as a "believing man," hence al-Mumin / al Momin; The Believer. However, this surat is most often called al-Ghafir (the All-Forgiving) because of the Divine Name mentioned in verse 3.

Regarding the timing and contextual background of the revelation (asbāb al-nuzūl), it is a "Meccan / Makki surah", which means it is believed to have been revealed in Mecca / Makkah, instead of later in Madinah or Madina.

Exegesis (Tafsir):

Translation: So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

Infallibility is an indispensable attribute of Islamic Prophet-hood according to Muslims. So according to Muslims, all the Islamic prophets are infallible in the sense that they do not sin or disobey God's orders. Here, God reminds the believers of an important fact to which Muslims must be attentive on the way to God

Reward of reciting Surat Moamin:

1. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said: One who recites Surah Ha Mim Momin, for him none of the souls of the prophets and truthful ones remains except that it invokes blessings on him and seeks forgiveness for him.

2. Imam as-Sadiq (a.s.) said: One who recites Ha Mim Momin every night, Allah forgives him all his past and future sins and makes compulsory for him the word of piety (that is he would be inclined to it) and makes the hereafter for him better than the world.

Surat al-Mu’min (The Believer)

This is a 'makki' surah and it has 85 ayaat. When a person recites this surah then the souls of all the Prophet (a.s.), the truthful people and the believers send salutations to him and pray for his forgiveness. Imam Jafar as Sadiq (a.s.) has said that whoever recites this surah once in every three days, his sins will be forgiven and he will become a God-fearing person.
