iFAST Touch works with two-factor authentication service to make logins more secure. In order to protect your apps and data, the application generates passcodes for login or receive push notifications for easy, one-tap authentication and also user can choose to authenticate themselves by using biometrics(fingerprint). Hence, you can use iFAST Touch to manage two-factor authentication for other application and web services that make use of passcodes.

And that is why we need two-factor authentication(2FA).

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your basic login procedure. When logging into an account, the password is a single factor of authentication, and requiring a second factor to prove you are who you say you are is an added layer of security. Verifying your identity using a second factor (like your phone or other mobile device) prevents anyone but you from logging in, even if they know your password.
