Get a Glimpse into your child’s life

We live in a highly connected world, there is no doubt about that, while most of us still vaguely remember a world without smartphones or mobile internet access.

Parents today have a completely different set of tools than those they were raised with themselves. Much of the information available to parents quickly becomes irrelevant. The control parents have over consumed media is constantly deteriorating at unprecedented speed. Parenting is becoming the uncharted territory of our time, and parents are the modern trailblazers.

Technology is not all bad

With all the information and learning potential that technology provides, it also raises concern about the kind of content our young are exposed to–and there’s technology for that, too. Parents are using all sorts of online tools to limit activity, usage and exposure. Often, parents see the internet, and especially mobile phone usage, as a mostly negative activity or at least one that needs to be monitored closely.

We are here to talk about a different approach - it’s less about limiting, and more about how parents can leverage smartphone usage to learn more about their interests, strengths, and weaknesses.

This allows Glimpse to find out how to motivate... what kind of activities your child will like most and what topics they may be interested in. Glimpse does not use that information for anything besides reflecting it to you, with actionable suggestions for activities, conversation topics, and efficient ways to incentivize your child to achieve positive goals.
