Dopamine 2020 will bring together over 500 top scientists from around the world, all of whom work on the roles of the chemical messenger dopamine in the normal brain and in the context of brain diseases including Parkinson’s, schizophrenia, addiction, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder and obesity. Taking place in beautiful Montréal and organized jointly by researchers from Montréal and New York City, Dopamine 2020 offers a unique combination of features, including focus on cutting-edge developments in dopamine research and novel therapeutics, mingling of investigators from all ranks and diverse sub-fields and locales, intimate size and extended discussion time allowing for sustained interactions and establishment of scientific collaborations and academic/industry partnerships.
