Overview

Volnova, located on the south side of the map, is one of the bigger towns in Vikendi with lots of average resources.

Analysis

Buildings in the center of the city are densely packed, but become more scattered as they re further away. The layout is complicated and the area is quite dangerous overall.

Players should consider landing in the middle of the map, such as the church, to gain an advantage in occupying the vantage point.

Start in a city center where finding supplies is easier with lots of resources, and then decide whether to explore the surrounding areas once geared up. Most of the roofs in Volnova are accessible, so keep an eye out.

Volnova is a popular landing spot, so it is a good idea to keep smoke grenades, grenades, and other throwables in the backpack at all times to get out in a pinch. Also, try to maintain a certain amount of energy if possible.

Important locations

1. Roof of the church

This is the tallest point of the city with a great view to observe enemies and snipes. Jump to the roof of the church from the roof of the building to the east, or climb to the roof using the door, accessible from the building to the west.

2. Fortifications in the southeast corner

This location has tall covers, which makes it great for both ambushing enemies and hiding for survival.

Find the 3-story building next to it, go to the roof through the window in the attic, then jump to the fortification from the roof.
