How to Retrieve Deleted Photos on Android

Method 1: Check your "Trash bin" or "Trash" folder

However, the way to access such folders varies based on your mobile brand. I'll take Xiaomi devices for example to show you the detailed steps.

-- Firstly you need to open your photo gallery, then click the "Albums" tab.

-- Scroll down you will see the "Trash Bin" folder and "Trash" folder.

-- The "Trash Bin" folder will store deleted photos for up to 30 days. Click "Trash Bin" to restore the photos you want.

Step 2: After launching the app, you will see two options: Basic Scan and Full Scan.

Step 3: Tap "Start Basic Photo Scan", and start to recover your deleted photos without rooting your devices.

Step 4: Tap the "Setting" button on the top right corner of the screen where you can filter photos by selecting the date range.
